Event Description:
I am inviting you to the annual Year 7 Cross Curricular Project performance, taking place on Wednesday 16 July 2025. This very exciting dance performance is the culmination of the work undertaken in Y7 dance curriculum lessons this term, and will involve every student from Year 7 performing with the rest of their class. It will start at 2.30pm and will finish by 3.00pm.
The performance, entitled Amazon Alive!, takes its inspiration from the vibrant life force of the Amazon rainforest. There will also be a performance from our Year 9 GCSE and Year 12 A Level Dance students, designed to support the work and understanding of the Year 7 students. The students have also had the opportunity to work with our technical team to create an exciting and interactive performance in the school theatre.
Tickets for the Dance Performance are now on sale, priced at 6 for adults and 3 for students. As ever, our apologies that there is no parking in the school grounds. We ask you kindly to respect our neighbours in near-by streets by avoiding parking in private or designated areas. The public car parks in West Street and at the back of Sainsburys should be used. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
