Waterstones Milton Keynes, supported by the Milton Keynes Literary Festival, are delighted to welcome back leading criminologist and distinguished author, Professor David Wilson on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm. David will be discussing his new book, A History of Modern Britain in 20 Murders, which explores what our nation’s most lethal murders reveal about us in a thrilling blend of history and true crime. David’s events are always hugely popular, so don’t miss out securing your place today.
A History of Modern Britain in 20 Murders examines what multiple murders across a range of eras can tell us about our past…and our present. Discussing many crimes and points in history we think we know, Wilson reveals why some cases particularly resonate and reverberate through public consciousness, and how they help us understand Britain’s complex, diverse and ongoing history.
