Event Description:

Our holiday workshops are for children aged 6-16, and are a combination of half day and full day courses. We explore projects working with paper sculpture, clay, design, mixed media, watercolour and acrylics. Every student works on their own individual project - at the end of the session they’ll go home with a finished piece of artwork!

We are giving you an extra hour in the morning, free of charge! Here’s how it works:

Drop-off starts at 9:00 AM you are welcome to drop off anytime from this point Workshop officially begins at 10:00 AM Between 9:00 and 10:00 AM, children can play games, read books, and start exploring ideas for their projects. This means by the time 10:00 AM comes around, they’ll already have their project ideas ready to go, by making the most of their workshop time! Workshop finishes at 12:00 PM (half day booking) or 15:00PM (full day booking) Half day workshops are 2 hours; full day workshops are 6 hours (1hour free + 4 hours + lunch hour).

Full day students must bring their own packed lunch (no nuts, chocolate or sugary snacks).

Please note, we recommend our full day sessions for age 7+. In our experience, 6 year olds can find a full day in the studio challenging so our half day sessions may be a better fit.

Clay projects are only available to students attending workshops on 2 or more days to allow for drying time before painting; this leads to higher quality outcomes as well as a calmer studio environment as students do not continuously have to dry their clay. Please read your confirmation email carefully after booking, for full details of our safety procedures and what to bring to the session.
