All Aboard! Join the Reminiscence Express at Aston Manor

Experience a first-class ticket to the past.

Aston Manor on De Havilland Way is inviting the Aylesbury community to step inside our purpose-built, vintage-style train carriage for a unique journey through time. The Reminiscence Express combines digital ‘moving’ landscapes with sensory immersion and regionally themed cuisines to help unlock memories and foster meaningful connections.

We are looking for interesting characters and local storytellers to join the residents in the carriage. Whether you have tales of far-flung travels or cherished memories of British seaside holidays, we want to hear them!

What to expect:
Watch the world go by on digital screens.
Enjoy themed dishes prepared by the chefs, from British seaside classics to international delicacies.
Help support mental agility for our residents and those living with dementia through the power of shared storytelling.
