Conducted mainly in French, this interactive study day will use short films to explore themes of identity culture and belonging, to introduce students to new vocabulary and to provide them with opportunities to practice their listening, speaking and writing.
The morning will consist of a presentation interspersed with short film screenings, clip analysis and lesson activities designed to introduce students to new vocabulary, supporting them with their critical film analysis skills and encouraging them to discuss the issues raised in the films in the target language. In the afternoon there will be an introduced screening of Gagarine _(_Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh, 2020) - with subtitles.
Booking information
£10 per student; £1 per adult accompanying every 5 students; for any additional adult the student rate applies. £40 for teachers attending without students. (Discounts are available to Milton Keynes schools serving communities experiencing disadvantage (higher levels of FSM/PP).
