Event Description:
We invite you to an exclusive private visit to Bledlow Manor Gardens on 24 June, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Normally open by appointment only, these remarkable gardens—designed by Robert Adam—offer a rare opportunity to explore a series of beautifully contrasting spaces, from the contemporary sculpture garden and parterre to the walled kitchen garden. Visitors can also extend their experience with a walk through the tranquil Lyde Water Garden, located just below the main grounds. All proceeds from this special event directly support Milton’s Cottage, the only surviving home of John Milton where he completed his epic ‘Paradise Lost’. In celebration of our connection with Milton, his poetry will be brought to life with a reading in the gardens. The garden tearoom will also be open, serving cakes and drinks throughout the afternoon. Tickets are £15 (under 16s free of charge) and can be purchased via Events – Milton’s Cottage.
