Event Description:
Chesham Fringe Festival returns to Chesham from 22–24 May 2026, turning the town into a lively hub of comedy, live music, theatre, cabaret and family-friendly entertainment across a wide range of intimate venues. This year’s headliners — Stereo MCs, Adam Kay and Henning Wehn — lead a varied programme of more than 60 shows, mixing well-known names with standout emerging talent.
Alongside the big draws, audiences can dip into tribute acts, original bands, new writing, one-person theatre, dance, family shows and interactive performances, all within easy walking distance of each other. The Fringe is known for its friendly atmosphere, affordable tickets and the chance to discover something new in smaller, up-close settings you won’t find at larger festivals.
Whether you’re planning a full weekend of shows or just popping in for one evening, Chesham Fringe offers an easy, local way to enjoy great live performance over the Bank Holiday. Many events sell out in advance, so it’s worth booking early and building your own mini programme across the weekend.
