The gardens at Chiltern Open Air Museum reflect the region’s rich horticultural heritage. Traditional gardens inc an Arts and Crafts garden, Victorian fernery, Iron Age herb garden, and a wartime ‘Dig for Victory’ allotment. The site’s apple and cherry orchards preserve rare varieties like D’Arcy Spice and Prestwood Black, celebrating the Chilterns’ rural history.
