Event Description:

🥾 ABOUT THE WALK 🥾

🍻 Join us for a scenic countryside walk from the charming village of Cosgrove! 🌿

Starting at the local pub, we’ll kick off by passing through a quirky tunnel before strolling along the peaceful canal. The views are stunning, and with a bit of luck, we’ll spot a heron or two along the way! 🦆 We’ll cross a few beautiful old bridges, wave to the cows on the other side of the canal 🐄, and then leave the waterway to explore the open fields.

There are a few stiles on this walk, so if you’ve got a large dog, you might want to give them a rest at home this time! 🐕 After the walk, we’ll loop back to the pub for an early beer 🍺, a coffee ☕, and maybe even a bowl of chips! 🍟

🐶 IS THIS WALK DOG FRIENDLY? Not really as there are some stiles (small dogs are ok).

🎒 WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

* Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).

* A drink.

⛑ RULES TO KEEP YOU SAFE :

• We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
• We supply free sweets at the halfway stage - we call this “squidge and dip” - hand sanitiser, then dip in for your free sweets.
