Event Description:

Join us this Summer for our HAF activities.

Our activities are centered around enrichment and learning through animal interaction and engagement. The sanctuary is a learning journey for all ages and is very relaxed so that each child and family can go around at their own pace. A focus is on family time together too.

The animals help with learning about caring, sentience, and kindness whilst teaching an understanding of the needs of others either human or animal.

There are educational signs on every pen and a large factual learning wall for all so that the experience is educational as well as enriching and enjoyable. The text is formed in a simple, clear way so that it is readable for all ages without it being patronising to those that are older.

The children have more than 60 minutes of physical activity overall during their 4-hour session that involves walking and moving around along with a paddock for ball games too.

We offer healthy eating options and start conversations around these options to raise awareness of a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating and physical activity.

Sessions will run from 11am to 3pm on the following dates:

• Thursday 6 August
• Friday 7 August
• Friday 14 August
• Thursday 20 August
• Friday 21 August
• Friday 28 August

We have been awarded funding from Buckinghamshire Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme.

If you are eligible, you will receive an email or text message from holidayactivities.com closer to the Summer holidays. This message will contain a HAF voucher that you can redeem to book funded activities for your child using the booking system.

Additionally, a free healthy meal will be provided as part of this provision.
