Visit WebsiteEvent Description:
The magic of fermentation has a transformative effect on body and mind by increasing diversity on all levels and improving overall wellbeing. Award-winning author and fermentation expert Rachel de Thample will be joining us for an evening showing you can use fermentation to transform your gut health.
Celebrating her new book, The Fermentation Year, she’ll show us how to use seasonal fermentation to rewild your microbiome while demonstrating some of her favourite fermenting techniques. She’ll also show you how to incorporate fermented foods into delicious dishes the whole family will love (such as her cultured pot au chocolat with honey fermented fruit).
It’ll be a deliciously inspiring evening that leave you buzzing with ideas on what you can ferment at home.
Digging Deeper is a series of conversations, where we invite speakers to share their stories, knowledge, and passion for the world around us. These evenings seek to spark discussion, encourage thoughtfulness, and inspire action towards a better future.
Snacks and small plates will be available to purchase from 5pm. We offer £5 pints and glasses of wine until 6pm. If you are dining together, you can enjoy two snacks, two small plates and a caraf of house wine for £45.
