Join us for a magical, hands-on craft workshop where you’ll design and create your very own glowing Enchanted Creature Lantern in the beautiful surroundings of Hughenden Estate.

Using a glass jar and a variety of creative materials, you’ll bring a mystical creature to life — glowing softly from within. Perfect for families, teens, adults, and anyone who loves fantasy and imaginative crafts.

🏮 What You’ll Make

During this guided workshop, you will:

🧚 Design a magical lantern using a glass jam jar

🐉 Choose your creature — dragon, mermaid, phoenix, wolf, or your own creation

✨ Create a silhouette using card

🌈 Layer tissue papers to add colour and a glowing effect

💫 Add sparkle with glitter and decorative details

🌸 Embellish with imitation flowers, ribbons, strings, and decorative keys

🕯️ Light your lantern using fairy lights or a battery-powered tea light

As your lantern lights up, your creature will glow beautifully from within — creating a truly enchanting effect.
