Event Description:

As part of Exhibition at We Make Wycombe, Internationally Renowned Visually Artist Derek Ogbourne Presents: 

From Pigment to Paint:  Paint making Demonstration and Workshop.

With Artist Derek Ogbourne

An introduction to paint making, from pigment to paint, where traditional methods of production are demonstrated by artist Derek Ogbourne and then opened up to the group to reproduce and experiment with making paint. Historical examples will be given showing how these mediums have been used in context. 

Materials will be provided and the following paint mediums will be created and experimented with:

Watercolour 

Goache

Oil paint 

Egg Tempera

The format of the class will be alternating demonstrations and practicals.
