Event Description:
Come on down to the Chalfont St Peter Garden Club’s hut (just to the left of the community centre) on Sunday the 21st of June from 10 to 12 noon for a very special Gardener’s Questions and Plant Swap as part of the Chalfont St Peter Fringe.
Pop in on Sunday with any gardening related questions - our committee have decades of experience growing in the allotments and their gardens in Chalfont. All questions welcome - from how to build a potato tower to why your plant isn’t thriving to what you should plant if your garden is shaded.
As well as answering your questions, we will also be hosting a community seed and plant swap, so bring down anything you have in excess to swap with others for their locally grown plantlings or seeds.
This event is free, the aim being to encourage knowledge sharing, sustainable practices and community spirit.
Chalfont St Peter Garden club is now in it’s 86th year, originally part of the dig for victory campaign. The summer show is a mainstay of the village calendar, giving residents a chance to enter items from their garden, kitchen and craft table! The garden club also hosts regular talks and outings throughout the year.
