With Joseph Schneider

Create a self-portrait drawing or painting that communicates your identity and tells your unique story. Be inspired by traditional and contemporary approaches to self-portraiture while developing both technical skills and a deeper personal connection to your work. Choose from a range of mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media and collage. Discover strategies for developing your personal style and balance technical skill with emotional depth.

It is recommended that you bring your own drawing and painting materials for this workshop so that you can work in the media you most prefer. Due to the nature of the workshop, you could bring paints, pencils, charcoals, collage material or other media as well as paper to work on - this can be supplemented with materials at the centre on the day. The Art Centre does have some supplies to borrow or use, although quality and quantity cannot be guaranteed. There is also an Art shop onsite where many of the required materials can be bought.
