Event Description:
Get ready for a night of frightful family fun as the Halloween Spectacular returns to Chiltern Open Air Museum on Friday 30 October, from 5pm–9pm.
Explore the museum after dark as its historic buildings and woodland are transformed for Halloween. This year, some of the fun takes on a circus theme – watch the ringmaster’s spectacular fire performance, see jugglers in the arena and venture into the Funhouse, if you dare!
Brave the spooky woodland walk, where monsters may be lurking in the shadows, or take younger children on the not-so-spooky walk through the enchanted woodland. Along the way, enjoy trick or treating in the museum’s historic cottages, listen to the Halloween Band and get creative with creepy crafts.
Warm up beside the bonfire and toast marshmallows, look out for the spooky horses and don’t forget to come in fancy dress. You can also visit the spooky photo studio and have your Halloween costume captured by a professional photographer.
With activities spread across the museum’s atmospheric historic buildings and 45-acre site, the Halloween Spectacular offers a memorable family Halloween event in Buckinghamshire filled with entertainment, surprises and just the right amount of spookiness.
There are two entry times, at 5pm and 6pm, with activities continuing until 9pm.
