Event Description:
Discover places where Wycombe’s chair heritage was made on this walking trail.
Explore eight historic sites, including Wycombe’s first chair factory, funiture showrooms, chair arches, and an original, still-standing taditional factory building.
The route is a 1.7 mile long circuit, and takes around an hour on foot. Four of the locations are marked by physical information boards, one can be found here at Eden.
The trail is available as a downloadable PDF (either to follow on your phone or to print at home), or you can pick up a printed map for free from the museum.
Accessibility info: This trail is a step-free route. There are a few moderately steep hills, and a fair amount of road-crossings where there are some standard height paventment kerbs.
