Event Description:
Sat 11th April – Doors 7:30pm / performance starts 8pm
Wycombe Arts Centre is delighted to welcome acclaimed folk‑punk artist Jess Silk to the Arts Centre on 11th April . Known for her powerful voice, sharp political insight, and strippedback acoustic sound, Jess has become one of the most compelling performers on the UK folk circuit.
Supporting Jess on the tour is Midlands singer‑songwriter Matt Johnson, whose melodic storytelling and warm stage presence offer a perfect complement to her fiery delivery. Matt’s recent work highlights his talent for crafting thoughtful, memorable songs that connect on a personal level.
Together, Jess and Matt bring a dynamic mix of humour, heart, and authentic songwriting to every venue they visit. Their appearance at Wycombe Arts Centre will be an evening of intimate, but powerful acoustic performances, engaging stories, and the unmistakable chemistry that has made their collaboration so well‑loved.
This is a standout date on the tour and a must‑see event for fans of contemporary folk-punk acoustic music, and powerful live performance. This is a ‘pay what you can event’ with a bucket collection to make live music available to everyone.
