An atmospheric lunchtime concert showcasing the variety and magic of English Song, flowing seamlessly as a continuous journey from the freshness of Spring to the darkest depths of Winter. Themes of nature, musings on what it is to be human, the passing of time, love, ageing, death and new life are explored. Music is entwined with text by Michael Armstrong, Madeleine Dring, Jonathan Dove, Vikram Seth, Britten, Auden, Parry and Walter de la Mare.
