Event Description:
Book FREE tickets to visit real homes around Hazlemere and Tylers Green to see how the homeowners have improved their energy efficiency.
Open eco-home events offer a unique opportunity to visit real homes and speak with homeowners to find out what it’s really like to install and live with energy efficient technologies - from solar panels, battery storage and heat pumps to insulation, home EV charging and nature friendly gardens.
There are two eco-homes to visit in Hazlemere and Tylers Green, Buckinghamshire on Sunday 1st March 2026, each showcasing different combinations of technology and environmentally friendly approaches to energy efficiency and decarbonised power and heating systems.
The free tours last about and hour, and you can visit just one home, or both from the list below:
10am, Sunday 1st - Green Street, Hazlemere: Self-build eco-home, solar PV panels, triple glazing, insulation etc to near Passivhaus standard. Further details to follow.
11.30am, Sunday 1st - Tylers Green: Fully modernised family home with solar PV panels, battery storage, hot water diverter, charge point for electric car, air-to-air heat pump (air conditioning).
