Join Wycombe Arts Centre for our popular open mic night!

Known as one of the friendliest in the area, our open mic nights are perfect for seasoned performers and first-timers alike.

We welcome everything from music and stand up comedy to poetry, dance and more.

Sign up on the night to take to the stage or simply come along to enjoy the performances. It’s a night that’s not to be missed!

Are you ready to get out there with your music? Have you been working tirelessly on your vocal techniques, stage performance and new compositions? Do you feel like you’re ready to perform in front of a live audience?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should come along to our regular open mic!

Our open mic night is a live show run by local performers and sound engineers on every second Friday of the month. You don’t need to book your performance slot in advance, just sign up on the day!

Everyone is welcome to perform, whether you’re a musician, dancer, poet or comedian. Come and gain more experience by performing in front of a live audience.

Our open mic is great for trying out new material, training your performing skills, breaking into the local music scene and networking with other performers! Each artist can perform three songs (or a 10-15 minute spot for non-musical acts), and covers and originals of all genres are welcome. The stage is yours!

Our audience is made up mostly of performers themselves and so they’re kind and encouraging, but don’t forget to bring family and friends to cheer you on! If you’re still not sure, don’t hesitate to come along just to watch so that you can get a feel for our unique open mic atmosphere while enjoying a drink from the bar.
