A sparkling 1960s-set comedy of egos, romance and theatrical chaos, Present Laughter follows a glamorous actor whose carefully curated life unravels in a whirlwind of wit, vanity and unexpected visitors.

At the height of his fame, stage idol Garry Essendine is adored by audiences and surrounded by an entourage of eccentrics, admirers and hangers-on. But as a tour approaches and the line between performance and reality blurs, the spotlight starts to reveal cracks beneath the glittering surface. Noel Coward’s classic comedy is a riotous portrait of celebrity, desire and self-deception.
