
Event Description:
The Buckingham Remembrance Day Parade is organised by the Royal British Legion and will be held on Sunday 9th November. The parade will form up on Market Hill before the procession moves off, walking through the town centre towards Castle Street. The parade ends at St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church where the War Memorial is sited. A rolling road closure, organised by Buckingham Town Council, will be in place when the parade is on the move.
Market Hill will be closed from 9am until 12:30pm, allowing the parade to form and disband. A rolling road closure will be in place from 10:15am for Market Square and Castle Street. The length of West Street from the junction with Western Avenue to Market Square and the High Street from the junction with High Street/Moreton Road.
Once the parade has reached St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church, the rolling road closure will be lifted until the parade is ready to march back to Market Hill. Diversions will still be in place during this time.
