Event Description:
Head into the woods that inspired Fantastic Mr Fox, then return to the Museum for homemade cake and a drink.
Treat the family to a walk in the woods, with cake and coffee after! The perfect activity for kids and adults alike. Head off into the woods that inspired so many of the stories with your local guide, professional actor Michael.
He’ll help you search for Fantastic Mr Fox as you follow in Roald’s footsteps through the very wood that inspired the book. Spot the signs left by those witty foxes and use your tree identifier to pick out the tree you think they might be hiding in.
Perfect for celebrating the changing seasons, you’ll learn about how the story was created and listen to extracts from the book as you go.
Afterward you’ll head back to the Museum for refreshments that include your choice of homemade cake and a speciality tea, coffee or soft drink.
For age 6 and over.
