Event Description:

Join Toni from Easely Does It for a joyful, beginner-friendly acrylic painting session bursting with character and charm.

In this fun, step-by-step workshop, we will paint Rosie — an adorable dachshund rocking heart-shaped sunglasses, full of confidence, cuteness, and personality. This session is playful, uplifting, and perfect for painters of all abilities.

Working on a 40 × 30cm stretched canvas, we will explore how to:

✨ Paint expressive faces and characterful features

✨ Add fun accessories like heart-shaped sunglasses

✨ Use colour to show personality and mood

✨ Paint freely and confidently without worrying about perfection

No painting experience is needed — Toni will guide everyone through each stage, encouraging creativity and individuality so artists can feel proud of their finished artwork. 🎨🐾

All materials are included — just bring your imagination and a sense of fun.

Your workshop takes place at the historic Hughenden Estate, once home to Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and later a secret WWII map-making base.

Set among rolling countryside and woodland, Hughenden provides a beautiful, relaxed setting for a cheerful, creative morning — even one starring a very stylish sausage dog. 🌳✨

You’re also welcome to explore the house and gardens — free for National Trust members, or payable separately for non-members.

🚗 Arrival Details

Please arrive by 10:00 AM and park in the visitors’ car park.

Please note: the path from the car park is long and uneven in places.

Head to Visitor Reception, where a team member will meet you and guide you to the workshop space.

Take a moment to enjoy the surroundings before we begin.
