Event Description:

Garsington Opera’s Concert Series in association with Wigmore Hall

Acclaimed for their partnership, internationally renowned cellist Steven Isserlis and award-winning pianist Connie Shih appear at Garsington Studios for the first time with a varied programme featuring Beethoven’s well-known Judas Maccabeus variations, late-Romantic French composer Bonis’s beautiful and lyrical Cello Sonata and Steven’s own arrangement of Schumann’s Second Violin Sonata.

If you would like to stay for supper afterwards, an informal buffet-style meal will be served in the café after the performance at shared tables. The two-course menu is £40 per person and includes a glass of house wine.
