Event Description:

Make the most of October Half Term with Terrific Tuesday at Chiltern Open Air Museum, a fun-filled day of hands-on activities for children and families. On Tuesday 27 October, step back in time with a special Tudor theme, packed with creative crafts and activities inspired by the past.

Organised by the museum’s award-winning Learning Team, Terrific Tuesdays are designed to get children creating, exploring and discovering through play. Have a go at a range of Tudor-themed activities and make something special to take home with you.

Children – and grown-ups – can also get messy with Hands On Clay, run by the Dacorum and Chiltern Potters Guild. Mould, shape and create your own clay treasures in this popular hands-on workshop, included with admission.

With 45 acres of historic buildings and countryside to explore, plus an adventure playground, Terrific Tuesdays offer a brilliant family day out combining history, creativity and outdoor fun. Activities take place between 11am and 3.30pm.
