Event Description:
Set within six acres of stunning therapeutic gardens, the festival brings together art, nature, music, creativity and community spirit in one of Buckinghamshire’s most inspiring and tranquil settings.
Taking place daily from 10am–4pm, the event will transform Lindengate’s flourishing gardens into an immersive outdoor gallery, showcasing a carefully curated collection of original fine art, sculpture, ceramics and contemporary craft. Visitors will be invited to explore the exhibition throughout the site, where artistic excellence and natural beauty come together to create a truly memorable experience.
Nestled behind Blue Diamond Garden Centre, Lindengate is widely regarded as a hidden gem within Buckinghamshire. Lovingly maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers, the charity’s therapeutic gardens provide a sanctuary for wellbeing, reflection and restoration. Constantly evolving with the seasons, the gardens offer visitors something new to discover with every visit.
The 2026 festival will also mark an exciting milestone for Lindengate, you can be among the first to experience the charity’s newly created Japanese Water Garden and brand-new café.
Alongside the exhibition, guests can enjoy live music performances every afternoon, artist demonstrations, delicious food and refreshments, and a variety of creative experiences designed to engage and inspire visitors of all ages.
A programme of masterclasses and workshops for adults and children will also run throughout the weekend, giving attendees the opportunity to learn directly from talented artists and makers. Whether participants are complete beginners or experienced creatives looking to develop new skills, the festival will offer a welcoming environment in which to explore their artistic potential.
The full workshop programme will be announced in the coming weeks, with early booking, via our website, recommended due to anticipated demand.
In keeping with The Art Exhibitionists’ reputation for creating memorable and engaging events, visitors can also expect a number of exciting new features and surprise experiences throughout the weekend, adding an extra touch of magic to the festival atmosphere.
Importantly, every ticket purchased will directly support the work of Lindengate Charity. Admission is priced at £8 in advance and £10 on the gate, with children under 16 admitted free of charge. The ticket price includes full access to both the six-acre Lindengate gardens and the Festival of Art, offering exceptional value for a full day of inspiration, entertainment and discovery.
In a significant commitment to supporting the charity, 50% of all admission revenue will be donated directly to Lindengate Charity, helping to fund its life-changing work supporting mental health and wellbeing through nature-based therapeutic programmes.
Whether visitors come to discover exceptional art, wander through beautiful gardens, enjoy live music, learn a new creative skill or simply spend time in inspiring surroundings, the Lindengate Festival of Art & Gardens promises a memorable Bank Holiday experience for all.
