Event Description:
DISCOVER THE TRING TILES, a rare glimpse into medieval artistry and storytelling, in this special exhibition at Tring Local History Museum. Originating from the 14th century and on loan to us from the Victoria & Albert Museum, these remarkable earthenware tiles tell the apocryphal infant miracles of jesus Christ. They feature: “great humour … [and) a vividness of expression that borders on caricature.” (Richard Blurton 1997, then-Curator of the British Museum).
