Visit WebsiteEvent Description:
High Wycombe Tuneless choir celebrated its 2nd birthday on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. We have sung a wide range of songs over our second year and performed at various community events.
Like all Tuneless Choirs, singers from different backgrounds and all ages come together to enjoy the release of endorphins as they sing popular songs in their own unique ways. No pressure, no judgment, just confidence-boosting in a great atmosphere under the direction of Niamh Bulbeck. Most importantly we just have FUN!
Sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at St James’ Church (Hall), Plomer Hill, Downley, High Wycombe, HP13 5NB.
The church is located at the top of Plomer Hill, easily accessible from the A40 or from Downley village. There is a free car park as well as on street parking on the local streets.
Doors open at 7.30pm with sessions running from 7.45pm until 9pm. Please bring a water bottle with you.
Newcomers pay £10 for their first session which includes registration but thereafter the price is £8.00 per session, or you’ll be able to sign up for a term in advance for the equivalent of £6 a session, so for example £48 for 8 sessions.
