Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

You don’t need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!

    The Task:

We will be maintaining the shared gardens and planting pollinator friendly shrubs and plants to encourage wildlife to this urban area. It’s a relaxed and social session, if the weather is nice we can have a drink afterwards!

7pm: Work finishes, time to go home!

    What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and suncream if it’s sunny!

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

    Access:

Almshouses gardens are on a gradual slope and should be suitable for all.

    Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
