Event Description:
This year’s carnival theme is ‘Children’s Books’. Get ready to see an amazing parade filled with characters from your favourite stories!
The parade starts at 12pm on Melrose Avenue, continuing along Whaddon Way before turning left onto Shenley Road and reaching its final destination at Rickley Park. Make sure to give a friendly wave to our esteemed dignitaries travelling on Lennie the Land Train as they pass.
Once at Rickley Park, you’ll be welcomed by fairground rides, mesmerizing live music, and some very exciting live acts. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a variety of food, drink and ice cream options to choose from. Make sure to bring cash as there will be stalls and charity groups you’ll definitely want to support. More information is yet to be announced so make sure you stay in the loop.
