2025-11-07T16:18:20Z
November is a special time for history lovers in Buckinghamshire, as the county’s rich past comes alive during the 10th annual Buckinghamshire History Festival. Organised by Buckinghamshire Archives, this month-long celebration showcases the very best of our local heritage, and there’s truly something for everyone.
Whether you’re a history buff, a curious family, or simply looking for a new way to explore Bucks, the festival has plenty to enjoy. Take a step back in time on a historic walk, watch traditional corn milling demonstrations, or join one of the online talks if you prefer to explore from the comfort of home. For those with a creative streak, there are also performances and workshops that bring history to life in unexpected ways.
The festival isn’t just about looking back—it’s a chance to connect with the people and places that make Buckinghamshire so unique. From small villages to bustling towns, each event offers a glimpse into the stories, skills, and traditions that have shaped our county.
