The Platinum Way is a vibrant 3-mile cycling and walking route stretching from Aylesbury Town Centre to Aylesbury Vale Parkway railway station. Formerly known as the Emerald Way, it offers a smooth, accessible link through Haydon Hill and Fairford Leys, with direct connections to the popular Waddesdon Greenway. You can complete the route by bike in around 30 minutes, making it a convenient and enjoyable way to travel between key parts of the town.
Route Overview
Designed as part of Aylesbury’s original Gemstone routes, the Platinum Way was created to encourage active travel, improve air quality, support public health, and help reduce congestion. Along the way, you’ll find several parallel crossings, allowing both cyclists and pedestrians to cross safely and confidently at the same time.
