The Chesham Suffragettes Trail is a unique walking route that takes you through the town’s historic streets and landmarks connected with the local women’s suffrage movement, celebrating the campaign for the vote and the people involved. First created to mark the centenary of women winning the vote, this trail combines local history with an engaging walking experience for residents, visitors and history enthusiasts alike. The route covers around 3.3 miles and includes key sites from Chesham Broadway to Chesham Cemetery, offering insight into the town’s rich social heritage.
