The Chalfont St Peter Fringe started as an experiment in June 2024. Led by volunteers, this was an initiative to bring people together through fun, creative experiences that spark conversation and inspire people to try something new. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the amazing people, organisations, history and natural beauty of where we live.

And what fun we had with an eclectic programme which included music recitals, summer picnics, fascinating literary and history talks, art workshops, back‑to‑nature adventures, open gardens, and fun sports activities. In 2025 the programme expanded even further with a very special concert by Vache Baroque, Tales from the Graveyard Tour and a Nature Discovery Day.

And in 2026, our programme will be even bigger.

We’re a non‑profit, volunteer‑powered initiative run on enthusiasm, heart and the generosity of local organisations and audiences.
